Breaking Bread in Branchville

In every village of yesteryear, there was a vIbrant hub.
Here now in 21st century Branchville, George's Wine and Gourmet Gallery owners George and Frances Delgado seamlessly weave their passions together to offer deliciously prepared dishes both catered and in-store. Artisan breads and fabulous trinkets for purchase, along with boutiquc wines, spirits, microbrewery beer and ales, crcate a nexus and fusion of locally grown products, either blended into their own creations or sold as stand-alone products at the store.
With its new cafe in full swing, the Delgados feed the hungry Monday through Saturday. Any visitor sees this modern-day village hub pulsing with the energy that a steady stream of expectant customers brings. These customers, too, are not just numbers in the waiting line. They are either on a first-name basis with George and r;rances, or are about to be.
"There's an unclear line between customers and friends," said George, a sommelier and world-renowned mixologist. "Very rarely do I feel that people walking into the shop are customers."
Frances takes that concept one step further adding, "Many of our customers have in fact become friends with each other, as well."
Frances Delgado, also holding a sommelier rating, is a baker and caterer. She opened the shop alongside her husband, George, six years ago. With experience in Manhattan at Windows on the World and other major catering and hotel chains, the power couple has built their dream business where culture, fine foods, wines and interesting gifts bring a certain hue of worldliness and whimsy to Branchville and Sussex County that was lacking before their arrival...
